Slumped Knit Porcelain Pouch in Marine Blue

Slumped Knit Porcelain Pouch in Marine Blue

$150.00Price

Originally intended to be a tall pouch, this one decided it would rather be a wall hanging. Embedded into the folds of the pouch, one of the ends of its marine blue I-cord was kicked off during the slumping. Although this piece does come with a wall hanger attached to the base of it, the piece could alternatively sit on a table, as seen in the last photo.

Knit porcelain pieces are all one of a kind, first individually knit, then dipped, formed and fired in the kiln. Some have additional embellishments such as cords and crochet work, others have been dipped in colored porcelain.

Because knit porcelain is fragile, I use a shipping and handling service for packaging these pieces. If the item arrives damaged, please photograph the item in its original packaging and contact me within 24 hours of receiving the package. Since your piece(s) have been insured for their full value, in the unlikely event of breakage, you will receive a full refund. For further information on my returns and shipping policy please see the Shipping and Returns tab.

Use care when unwrapping your knit porcelain as it is fragile. Avoid putting pressure on the piece as you unwrap it; as needed, use scissors to cut away packing materials, while avoiding cutting into the piece.
